01

The challenge

Local fabrication work is usually found by word of mouth. The workshop needed to be discoverable on Google for the specific things people search for — main gates, window grills, railings — in its service area.

Most visitors are on a phone and want a price range and a way to talk to someone, not a long brochure.

02

My role

Full-stack developer. GrillPasal (ग्रिल पसल) helps customers in the Kathmandu Valley and Kavre discover custom metalwork — gates, window grills, railings, washing machine covers and more — estimate the cost online and send an inquiry or call directly.

03

The approach

  1. 01Structured the site around services people actually search for, with a dedicated page per product category for clean local SEO.
  2. 02Built English and Nepali versions so customers can use the language they are comfortable with.
  3. 03Designed mobile-first with a persistent call button and a clear “Get a quote” path on every page.
  4. 04Added an instant cost estimator so visitors can see an indicative price range before contacting the workshop.

06

Challenges

Pricing without over-promising
The estimator shows a range and clearly states that final pricing follows an on-site measurement.
Two languages, one structure
Keeping English and Nepali content in sync without duplicating templates.

07

The result

The site is live and handles product discovery, cost estimates and customer inquiries for the workshop.

No metrics are published here unless they have been verified.

08

What I learned

“For local businesses, conversion design matters more than visual flourish. A visible phone number, a price range and content in Nepali do more work than any animation.”
